Grandma's Quilt to Be

OK.  I am so excited to be figuring this all out.  I created a quilt this morning on my new EQ7.  A total recommend for all you want to be quilt designers like me.  I have a hard time visualizing what a quilt will look like in certain colors and this can REALLY help.

I want to make a quilt for my grandma who just moved in with my mum.  Pap died in January and we didn't want her to be alone.

Here is what the quilt looks like:

Here is what the outline looks like in case you want to color your own:

You can get the file by clicking here.

Here is what just the block looks like:

You can get the paper piecing block by clicking here.  It is for a 12 in block and is a 4 page print out.

It looks like this:

Hopefully I will get to work on it soon.  Now I just have to find all those beautiful shades of purple!!!!  Off to etsy!

  2. Cool design and pattern! I certainly love it and I can’t wait to see the finished project. I just hope you could always find time to post and share it with the rest of us. Anyway, I just passed by for a quick stop. Stay happy and fit always! Take care!
